ABI Kershaw’s 76th minute match-winning try secured Worcester Warriors a remarkable victory over Harlequins in the opening game of the Allianz Cup.
The two clubs only found out on Friday that the match was on as Worcester were forced to meet the RFU’s midday deadline to prove their safety credentials.
Worcester went into half time 6-0 ahead through back-to-back penalties by Cat McNaney.
Harlequins hit back in the second half as Freya Auken went over for the first try of the competition.
