Falcons hope new deal will tempt Chick

Wanted man: Calum Chick

Newcastle Falcons are close to agreeing to a contract extension with England international No.8 Callum Chick.
Chick, 25, joined his home town club in 2015 and is a player that the Falcons want to keep hold of, especially after Mark Wilson retired earlier in the year.
He has won three England caps and has occasionally operated at blindside flanker for the Kingston Park outfit, for whom he appeared 21 times last season, scoring four tries.
