High-scoring hookers not good for the game

ONE of the strangest signs of the times is that this season hookers are the most prolific try scorers in the English Premiership after wingers.
A scan of the top try scorers in the English top league shows that, while the Saracens full-back/wing Max Malins is first in the table with 15, the player applying the heat in second place on 14 is George McGuigan, the all-action Newcastle hooker.
