World Rugby missed a trick by ignoring USA

Ican’t believe that the chance to expand the game over the Atlantic has again been missed by World Rugby by placing Australia as the country to stage the 2027 RWC. Despite the fact that we haven’t even had France 2023 yet, the venue for post France has all but been decided with an official vote for the host country to take place on May 12.
So far in a history covering 36 years and ten tournaments after France ‘23 next year, World Rugby have seen fit to stage the contest outside the major foundation Unions only once in Japan...
