Tigers aim to tie down Montoya

LEICESTER Tigers have opened talks with Argentina hooker Julian Montoya in an attempt to tie him down to a long-term contract.
Montoya, 28, arrived at Welford Road in January 2021 after his side Jaguares pulled out of the Super Rugby competition at the end of the 2020 campaign.
He had been due to play for Western Force in Australia on a shortterm basis but ran into visa problems for his family and instead joined the Tigers six months early.
