Glory for Kirkham after their Twickers agony

KIRKHAM Grammar overcame hosts Sedbergh 25-7 in the final of the Super 10s competition to end their season on a high.
Wins over QEGS Wakefield, Barnard Castle and Ipswich in the group stage put them on course for their first Super 10s title since 2003 and victory ended Sedbergh’s long hold of the trophy which stretched back to 2017, having won the event in each of the three seasons leading up to the pandemic.
