Diamond urges Eddie NOT to pick Lawrence

STEVE Diamond feels it would be unwise for England to pick Ollie Lawrence for the tour to Australia this summer with the powerful centre a couple of weeks away from a return to action five months after suffering a hamstring injury.
The 22-year-old Worcester Warrior, who won the last of his seven caps against the United States in July, would have provided the thrust England missed in the Six Nations, although head coach Eddie Jones criticised his attitude in a recent book.
