Lam likes Hartpury fly-half Williams

BRISTOL boss Pat Lam is looking to tie up a deal for Hartpury fly-half James Williams.
Williams, 25, moved to Hartpury in July 2020 after spells in the Premiership with Worcester and Sale, and Lam is keen to take him to Ashton Gate.
The Bears have already signed his former Sharks teammate AJ MacGinty for next season.
Lam is also trying to clear out some squad members but it could become expensive after the Bears missed the deadline to opt-out of deals for next season, so now face player payouts.
