RFU chief executive Bill Sweeney

THE RFU plans to revert to English coaches following Eddie Jones’ departure after next year’s World Cup, according to Bill Sweeney.
The RFU chief executive says that the Twickenham administration has an advanced England coaching succession strategy in place with the Australian’s successor as head coach to be announced before the 2023 World Cup.
This puts the spotlight on English coaches currently working abroad, such as Shaun Edwards in France, and Andy Farrell and Mike Catt in Ireland, as well as those who have worked as assistants to Jones, such as Leicester’s Steve Borthwick...
