Lozowski’s still loyal to England says McCall

MARK MCCALL believes Alex Lozowski will spurn Italy’s advances because he is close to regaining his place in the England squad.
The 30-year old Lozowski, whose versatility as a centre and an outside-half meets the requirements of England head coach Eddie Jones, has not appeared for England since November 2018. Under a new World Rugby rule, he is eligible to play for Italy, where his grandmother was born.
“Alex has been awesome all season,” said Mark McCall, Saracens director of rugby. “He is the kind of flexible back Eddie likes and where he commits himself internationally is up to him....
