NORTHAMPTON’S players and coaches are conducting lateral flow tests at home every morning before going to training to counter the threat of Omicron.
The Saints have not recorded one positive test among the players based at Franklin’s Gardens despite Omicron being the mot infectious of the variants so far.
Forwards coach Matt Ferguson said: “Before Omicron, we would come in and all stand in a line to be tested, checking we were not too close to each other, but now it is being done at home to ensure that no one who is infectious comes into the building.
