FORMER Blaydon player Chris Wearmouth scored twice, but it wasn’t enough to earn Tynedale an away win.
The hosts got off to a phenomenal start with fantastic try by Nathan Bailey in the first minute, created by a great Jonny Ashman break.
Eight minutes later, a chargedown on the Tyne 22 led to five minutes of Blaydon pressure and Ethan Clarke crossed the line. Both tries were converted by Nathan Horsfall.
