Grimes’ hat-trick downs Chester

A FIRST-HALF hattrick from Tom Grimes helped Fylde to a home win over a spirited Chester.
There wasn’t even a minute on the clock when the home side opened the scoring, Tom Forster breaking the line, before Grimes finished in the corner.
The teams were then deadlocked until Chester won a penalty after 24 minutes and Liam Reeve slotted it.
Fylde responded with a Scott Rawlings long pass out wide to Ben Gregory, who sent Grimes in at the corner for his second score.
