HARVEY Skinner has praised Exeter Chiefs relationships with local clubs in his development from academy to first team.
Chiefs’ friendship with clubs in the South West allows academy prospects vital minutes in the adult game, while remaining an integral part of the squad at Sandy Park.
Fly-half Skinner’s first loan was to Taunton Titans – his hometown club – when they sat in National Two. Once Exeter felt that Skinner could progress, they moved him to Plymouth Albion where he could play in National One.
