Army ace Wheeldon signs for Knights

DONCASTER Knights have signed scrum-half Lloyd Wheeldon until the end of the season.
The 25-year-old halfback, who is a serving soldier in the army, arrives from Heriot’s Rugby where he played for the Scottish side in the Super6 competition having represented Harlequins in 2019-20.
Doncaster head coach Steve Boden said: “We’ve been aware of Lloyd’s ability for some time now. He got some great experience down at Harlequins and a taste of a professional environment.
