Bennett shirt goes to auction

A RARE Phil Bennett match-worn, No.10 Wales shirt will be put up for auction in Bristol on Thursday. Bennett wore the shirt against Canada during Wales’ 1973 Canadian tour.
Paul Fraser Collectibles are estimating the jersey at £2,000-£3,000, but say it could achieve far more.
The world’s most valuable rugby shirt –a 1905 All Blacks shirt from a match against Wales – auctioned for £180,000 in 2015, far above its £20,000-£40,000 estimate.
