THERE is no problem with accusing Eddie Jones of double standards when he gives advice to young tennis star Emma Raducanu about the pitfalls of letting commercial activities get in the way of your day job.
Jones’ platform is something of a wobbly crate when you consider his consultancy to the Japanese club Suntory Songoliath, while presiding over England’s fifth place finish in the 2021 Six Nations. Add to that myriad commercial escapades, including promoting Japanese tourism and fashion accessories, and he is hardly in a position to tell Raducanu to keep her eye on the ball....
