Sanderson puts faith in kids after Faf surgery

SALE will be without Faf de Klerk for at least four months following hip surgery.
Director of rugby Alex Sanderson said: “We’re hoping it might be less than five months – maybe four. I’m not happy about it but what can you do.”
Raffi Quirke has been called up to the England squad but Sanderson is not looking to recruit cover at No.9, instead backing academy products Gus Warr and Nye Thomas. Sanderson added:
“I’ve got huge faith in the lads we’ve got.”
