Greenock granny is Sione link

THERE can’t be that many Tuipulotus in the Glasgow telephone directory but one will soon be found in the Scotland three-quarter line. Murrayfield’s genealogy department have come up trumps again.
Their latest trawl from the southern hemisphere includes Sione Tuipulotu, signed by the Warriors from a Japanese club after dual-code stints in his native Melbourne. Now, after a handful of matches for his new club, Sione goes straight into the national squad because he has a granny from Greenock.
His relocation to Clydeside means the family has turned full circle.
