Clubs act to curb powers of Union hierarchy

WELSH rugby’s rank-andfile clubs are being asked to back a radical plan devised to prevent the Union hierarchy ‘running roughshod’ over them.
The call for decisive action comes from one of their own, Aberavon Quins whose motions demanding greater ‘transparency’ from elected officials are on the agenda for the WRU’s annual general meeting next Sunday.
