Cut player numbers or modify the laws

THE problem with the size of players colliding at speed only appears to be an issue for the professional men’s game.
Changing the rules to allow only medical substitutes brings its own problems.
In the past we had Bloodgate and last season in the Bristol /Leicester game we had the situation where Pat Lam had brought off John Afoa as a tactical substitution but then claimed it was an injury substitution. There would be more of this if only medical substitutes were allowed.
