Resilient Gopperth finally fit and eager for action at Wasps

VETERAN Wasps playmaker Jimmy Gopperth says quitting never crossed his mind after a string of injuries wrecked his 2018/19 campaign and saw him false start in this one.
Gopperth endured a miserable year after rupturing an ACL last August and then breaking a thumb.
He suffered another setback just five minutes into his first Wasps start since May 2018, against Saracens in September, when he was forced off with a shoulder injury.
