Choice: Chris Ashton declined to be in Eddie Jones’ squad

CHRIS ASHTON admits watching the Rugby World Cup has been a difficult experience at times but has no regrets over his decision to put family first and miss out on the chance to go to Japan with England.
The prolific try-scoring winger, a member of the 2011 World Cup squad, withdrew from England training in June to be with his pregnant wife, Melissa, and daughter Ava Grace. Their second child is due any time soon and Ashton says his priorities lie at home.
