CENTRE Mark Bennett starred with a hat-trick of tries as Edinburgh Rugby landed a comfortable home win over Zebre.
The home side took the lead in the sixth minute at BT Murrayfield when second-row Fraser McKenzie went over for a try. Stand-off Jaco van der Walt converted.
Zebre stand-off Francois Brummer kicked a penalty in the 11th minute
Edinburgh were soon on the scoresheet again. A neat grubber kick from captain Nic Groom took a ricochet off a defender and Bennett picked up to score under the posts. Van der Walt converted.
