Dan hopes to make grand-dad proud with Wales U18s

WALES U18 full-back Dan John is hoping to keep his family’s proud rugby tradition alive while playing for his country in South Africa.
John’s dad Paul was a former Pontypridd scrumhalf who won ten caps for Wales between 1994 and 1998 and coached with Wales Sevens, at Sardis Road, and with Cardiff Blues. Grandfather Dennis also coached Pontypridd and took caretaker charge of his country for two Tests in 1998 following the departure of Kevin Bowring.
