FORMER Wales hooker Scott Baldwin believes plans for a British & Irish League are misguided and would risk undermining the “magical” European Champions Cup.
Baldwin, who spent ten seasons at the Ospreys before joining Harlequins this summer, does not believe a new joint-league would excite players or fans, citing the decline of Super Rugby as an example of why any new set-up might be doomed to failure.
