LONG-STANDING Championship boss Geoff Irvine will stand down from his role at the end of next season with Doncaster Knights’ Steve Lloyd stepping in the breach.
As Championship Clubs’ Chairman, Irvine has been in charge of driving English rugby’s second-tier forward for the last 12 years and felt it was time to hand over the baton.
