Ex-Wales No.10 on cloud nine at Ampthill

EMOTIONAL Ampthill head coach Paul Turner insists winning promotion to the Championship stands alongside playing for Wales in his list of career achievements.
Former fly-half Turner represented Wales three times and played for the Barbarians, while as a coach he steered Sale and Bedford to Premiership promotion in the Nineties.
He also spent three years coaching Harlequins and six at Dragons but he says helping to earn Ampthill the chance of competing among the top 24 teams in England next season gives him as much pleasure as anything.
