ENGLAND Men’s Sevens team put speculation over the future of RFU-funding for their programme behind them as they got off to the perfect start in Pool D at the BC Place Stadium. Prior to playing Argentina in the early hours of Sunday morning, Simon Amor’s side defeated Scotland 21-7 in their Canada Sevens opener before following that up with a 19-7 victory over Japan.
