SOUTH Africa’s first black captain Siya Kolisi has spoken out against the selection policy regarding racial parity in the Springboks squads, saying Nelson Mandela would not have supported the SARU’s quota system.
In 2018, the SARU’s target for black representation in Springboks squads was 45 per cent – a figure met only once in 14 Tests by head coach Rassie Erasmus and the South Africa coaching team.
