LEICESTER’S board must take the plunge and confirm Geordan Murphy as head coach without further ado, says defence coach Brett Deacon.
Former full-back Murphy, 40, has worn the ‘interim’ tag since taking over from sacked former boss Matt O’Connor in the first week of September, but Deacon says doubts over his Irishman’s experience should be cast aside so he can be allowed to get on with the job.
