Brave Batley battles back after cancer treatment

SEVENTEEN months ago Bristol Bears lock Joe Batley was given the news that he had been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a form of cancer which affects the body’s lymphatic system.
But the former England U20 international played the full 80 minutes in his first start of the season in Bristol’s 43-22 Challenge Cup game against Zebre.
