Beat boozers, close the bars!

WALESwill introduce an alcohol-free zone at the Principality Stadium next month for their four Autumn matches. The AFZ will cover 4,200 seats in the North Stand for those who not unreasonably object to having their view of the match impaired by the constant flow of spectators carrying, and spilling, trays of beer to their seats.
The move is the WRU’s response to persistent criticism that their policy of keeping the bars open throughout home matches has created the world’s largest public house. The AFZ raises two questions:
