Premiership exiles remain in the frame for World Cup

THOMAS Young and Owen Williams had their Wales World Cup hopes boosted this week after they were among 60 of Warren Gatland’s players to attend a vital pre- Japan meeting.
Head coach Gatland summoned his key men to Wales’ Vale of Glamorgan training base on Tuesday to outline how he plans to approach the global showpiece.
Among the topics covered were key times and dates for training camps and detailed fitness and logistical information for the next 12 months.
