Hopper hopes his injury hell is behind him in France

FORMER Harlequins and Cornish Pirates centre Matt Hopper is close to a return to action for Oyonnax after spending the last ten months on the sidelines.
The strong-running centre joined the French club in the summer of 2017 after six years and more than 100 appearances at Quins but was a bystander for much of the campaign after suffering a torn ACL last December.
Oyonnax were relegated from the Top 14 after losing to Pro D2 champions Grenoble in an end-of-season play-off, making his first season in France one to forget.
