Adeolokun try denies Scarlets a bonus point

SCARLETS head coach Wayne Pivac bemoaned his side’s poor decision making as they fell to their first defeat in two and a half years to Connacht at the Sportsground.
Johnny McNicholl and Tom Prydie scored tries in either half and Scarlets were still in touch late on. But Connacht scored their third through Niyi Adeolokun to seal the win.
Connacht were 20-13 ahead at half-time after tries from Tom Farrell and Cian Kelleher. Leigh Halfpenny’s boot kept Scarlets in the race and McNicholl’s try brought them to within one score at half-time.
