SARACENS Women have appointed Alex Austerberry as head coach, replacing Rob Cain who took up the position of USA Rugby Women’s head coach. Austerberry, 34, will leave his position as performance pathway officer for the RFU.
Austerberry began coaching with Saracens Women in 2010 before his role at the RFU. He said: “It is a great opportunity to work with an extremely talented group of players. “I’m very excited to come into a team that has so much potential and returning to Saracens to create more memories is very special.
