Is a 5am start any way to treat the Scarlets’ Cup finalists?

WHEN the Welsh Rugby Union agreed to squeeze Washington into their congested Test schedule, they presumably took the likelihood of the Scarlets reaching the PRO14 final into account. And then they ploughed on, regardless of the inconvenience to the players concerned.
The squad would leave Heathrow on the Sunday morning, May 27, and if their champion regional team took their title defence all the way back to Dublin on the Saturday night, well they would just have to sacrifice a decent night’s sleep, all 13 of them.
