Defeat doesn’t dampen Polledri’s dream season

GLOUCESTER back row Jake Polledri says even the pain of last week’s Challenge Cup final defeat to Cardiff cannot dent his pride after an incredible season.
Twelve months ago, Polledri lined up against Blackheath in his final match for Hartpury in their National One titlewinning campaign, since when he has become a Premiership regular at Kingsholm and won his first cap for Italy against Scotland in March.
