DUNCAN Weir’s lastgasp drop-goal saw Edinburgh to a crucial and rare victory at Ulster.
Edinburgh’s tenth win in the league, and first at Kingspan Stadium since 2009-10, moves them third and ahead of Ulster in the race for the Conference B play-off positions.
John Cooney scored Ulster’s try and his third penalty in the 67th minute looked to have sealed the win, but after tries from Jason Harries and Lewis Carmichael, Weir stepped into the pocket to drop the winner in the 82nd minute.
