LEICESTER TIGERS head coach Matt O’Connor is fighting to save his job less than a year after returning to Welford Road.
The Australian returned to the Tigers to replace Richard Cockerill, but the club are six points outside the play-off places and he is starting to feel the heat.
There have even been calls to sack O’Connor – the club’s former back coach – from certain sections of Tigers crowd, who are faced with another trophy-less season.
