Donald puts those fishing rods away again

A FEW months back, at the end of the New Zealand season, Stephen Donald found himself out of work. The Chiefs having decided his time had come and gone, the most improbable of all World Cup winners joined the ranks of the unemployed.
At 34 he’d had a good innings, one made historic by his unscheduled entry at the final stage of the 2011 World Cup in time to land the decisive penalty. Declared surplus to national requirements before the tournament began, Donald went fishing but had the good sense to take his mobile with him in case.
