Maturing Bassett is ready to battle for his place at Wasps

WASPS wing Josh Bassett believes his growing maturity is enabling him to fulfil the top-flight potential he first showed when making his debut for England U20s as a Bedford player in 2012.
Bassett, 25, joined Wasps in 2013 but nailed down a regular starting spot only last season, when his devastating wing partnership with Christian Wade produced 25 Premiership tries as the Coventry-based outfit came desperately close to ending a seven-year trophy drought.
