O Canada! The Singapore trophy is held aloft by the surprise winners

CANADA won their firstever World Series tournament in Singapore last Sunday as England secured the bronze medal.
Simon Amor’s side fell to the surprising Canadians 17-5 in the semi-finals but a 14-12 win over Australia, thanks to tries from Callum Sirker and Harry Glover, ensured a podium finish for a youthful side.
