FORGOTTEN London Irish wing Alex Lewington will step up his bid for further international honours after returning “fitter and stronger” from the anterior cruciate ligament injury he suffered on last summer’s England Saxons tour of South Africa.
Lewington, now four games into his comeback, is targeting promotion with the Exiles and then hopes to make an impact in next season’s Premiership to fight his way back into Eddie Jones’ thinking.
