France move off as Smith pens new deal

BEN SMITH will not be moving to France next season after he decided to pen a new deal to stay in New Zealand until 2020.
The 30-year-old will now definitely be available to face the British and Irish Lions this summer and will look to defend the All Blacks’ World Cup crown in Japan in 2019.
Smith has the option of a non-playing break in order to manage his workload and an early termination clause post World Cup.
