Mateo Carreras’s red-hot performances for Argentina in the Rugby Championship haven’t gone unnoticed in France, where he has a growing number of admirers.
Wing Carreras, 23, who is in the final year of his contract with Newcastle Falcons, has scored a try in his last two appearances for the Pumas against Australia and South Africa.
He scored 14 tries for the Falcons last season and has got Premiership rivals having a look down the back of a sofa to try and find enough funds to land him.
