Postlethwaite waits

ON THE BLINDSIDE

Exeter Chiefs are set to offer former Sale Sharks lock Matt Postlethwaite a contract for next season after he impressed during a trial spell with the former European Champions at Sandy Park.

Postlethwaite, 26, above, who hails from the West Riding of Yorkshire, made five appearanc es for the Sharks last season and was released by the Premiership finalists when his deal ended at the start of the month.
