Racing 92 could enter the race to land England No.8 Billy Vunipola when his contract with Saracens runs out this summer.
Vunipola admitted last week that the time might be right for him to leave north London and could become the subject of a tug-of-war between two former England coaches.
Racing are keeping a close eye on developments, but it may depend on if former World Rugby junior player of the year Jordan Joseph returns to the club next season.
