Wasps eye Vellacott as Simpson replacement

GLOUCESTER scrum-half Ben Vellacott could be off when his contract runs out at the end of the season.
Vellacott who is the subject of a tug of war between England and Scotland is already attracting the interest of Wasps coach Dai Young.
The former Scotland U20 international, right, who came through Exeter Chiefs academy, signed his first professional contract in January 2017. The 23- year-old could be an ideal replacement for Joe Simpson who is in the final year of his Wasps deal.
